2007. Meeting of Cultures

That year the Street Musicians Festival presented to the audience artists from fifteen countries, and four continents – Morocco, Senegal, Portugal, Russia, Canada, Australia, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, England… Already, this astonishing list of countries speaks volumes about the immense success of the Festival. By now, certainly the biggest as far as the number of participants is concerned, this edition of the Festival will be remembered for the exceptional interaction between artists and the unforgettable final concert. That year collaboration protocols were signed between festivals – Ferrara Buskers, from Italy and Imaginarius, from Portugal. In 2007, the Tourist Organization of Serbia awarded the Street Musicians Festival with the Touristic Flower Award for 2006 in the category Cultural-Touristic Event in Function of Tourism.
